Almost ready for the journey

Long time ago after my last post. And I have to say, that I am not posting for the next 2 weeks because I’m on vacation. Maybe I’ll find an internet café, then I’ll post some pictures from the ocean and surfing. Oh, I am going to France again and I can hardly await to get in the van, with the steering wheel in my left hand and a coffee to go in my right and Bradley Nowell’s vibrant voice in my ears while rumbling down the road.

I have to stop now because I have a f**ing bunch of work to do before I’m ready to go…

I’ll tell you more in about two weeks. And we’ll have a guest author on the blog. Hell yeah! I am totally excited,…stay tuned.

The 9 Darter: Home of DIY Anarchy

Hell yeah, here we go. Stefan from the 9 Darter – a hardcore punk rock band from Kreuzlingen, Switzerland – asked me to draw a poster for their rehearsal and gig room. For sure, here the result:

There should be a bunch of freakin’ out zombies, a camel-headed punk and a nine-dart-finish* on the dart board.

With credits to the local punk bands: Poison Idea, Social Victim and Abgas.

Howdy!

I regret for not posting a long time, but I caught a cold last week. And sorry for that little mess on my website, but I was not really satisfied with my portfolio concept resp. layout and I am not a web designer. Ok, HTML and CSS are not that difficult languages – if you have the time and are up for it (and to learn from scratch). But I made the best out of it and here we have the new 13illustrations.com site. I think it is still a little buggy and not every category is filled with content, yet. But I think it’s much more better than the old one.

What do think at all? Do you have any suggestions for improvements?

On a reader’s request (thanks, Timm) I have just added 4 (+2) more social media icons to the icon set.
