Hi Folks!
I hope you enjoyed the sunrays, your ice cream or maybe some sizzling BBQ. Well, I did. Now I am back to my studio and let the pencils roll, I have to deal with a lot of work. I’ll keep you up to date. By now I post some sketches (more will follow occasionally)
Have a nice day,
Alex
13 Illustrations now on Facebook
Posted by Alex on June 22, 2011
Hey dudes!
I am back. Sorry for my long online absence, but I’ve been hard-working on some brand-new illustration stuff. So be sure, I’ll make some updates as soon as possible. And yes, I will try to update more frequent in future. Promise!
Oh, and the latest news: I actually signed up for Facebook and now I have a 13 Illustrations Facebook fanpage! I’d be delighted to get some likes from you.
Furthermore I gave my blog/portfolio a little makeover. It now comes with few selfmade icons. Let me know if you like them, you can get them for free.
See you soon,
Alex
Rebel for Life

Aloha!
Summer is blazing its trail, the first sausages have been punished by charcoal, the lake is still fu**ing cold, plunged into water again at last (ok, except of showering) and skateboarding, of course.
Um, there was still something to tell…, yeah, right, after a long time there’ll be a fresh piece of rolling wood, looks not really summery, but in about four weeks at jolly weather I’m going to take it out to the park, and shredding it. Many thanks to Sascha from Rebel Rockers for making this design possible, although it’s not everyone’s taste.
I carried around this idea for a while, but it wasn’t ready to be conceived so far. With my love for zombie movies and punk rock it has been consequential to create a deck which combines both of these passions: the Rebel for Life deck
The skateboard enthusiast brings his (or her) declaration of love for Rock’n'Roll to the asphalt with this not-so-fresh-anymore chunk of meat.

This is the latest deck from the Rebel’s Garage: Apocalypse (alt. Felder vs. Lensen). It’s the first pro model for the Düsseldorf skateboarding company’s pro riders and crazy guys Lennart Efsing and Simon Felder.
The hippie dude Simon lives actually on a farm with his own skate bowl whereas Lensen is a natural born rocker who loves destruction, beer and heavy metal.

Here are some character studies for the Rebel Bräu Skateboard I have designed for Rebel Rockers.
